eBooks.com sells books in several formats. One of them is an online format – meaning you read the book online. The others are download formats, which you can store on your computer or hand-held device.
Read your ebooks online from any internet-connected device.
To display the contents of your ebooks online, we use a browser-based ebook reader called eb20. You don't need to download any software in order to use eb20 because the reader allows your books to just open up inside the same browser you use to surf the web. It is compatible with all popular browsers including Internet Explorer and Firefox.
This reader can be used on any computer with an Internet connection, anywhere in the world. eb20 is unique to eBooks.com, and we were the first online bookstore to allow our readers to read entire books online.
Not all of our ebooks are available in eb20, because some publishers have yet to sign on to the program. For books that are available to read online, you’ll see a flag that says "Available to read online in eb20".
eb20 books do not have to be purchased separately, and when available you will have access to the eb20 version with the purchase of any one of the following three versions of the book.
